Here is the story:
The previous owner to me bought the aircraft from the builder and flew it home and only put two flight on the airplane.He noticed something was not right in the tail section and took it off and found a small crack in a support. He bought the material with intentions of fixing it when a friend of his fell on the tail section and mangled it. From there, he bought all the materials to repair the whole tail and never got around to completing the task.
I bought this with intentions in finishing it and no longer have the time to complete this and it"s even almost done. It really seems like a great airplane to fly and I wish I could get around to doing it.
The last condition inspection was completed in April, 2013 and has not been flown since October, 2013. Don"t let it sit any longer! No airplane should stay in this condition. To my knowledge most, if not all, parts are with the airplane and if it is not, it would be very small pieces of hardware.
The airplane is located in Fort Worth, TX and this airplane has always been in a hanger and is in a hanger at Hick"s Field outside of Fort Worth. I unfortunately live in Indiana, but can arrange for the aircraft to be shown.
I removed the wings, which I promise is not very hard to put back on. I believe it is 8 or 10 bolts per wing and the fuel lines need to be reattached.
