Up for your consideration is my 1969 Beechcraft Musketeer Aerobatic Sport III (B-19A) S/N: MB-401.Good Bones!Airframe TT= 2119.30Engine TT (Lycoming 0-320 E2C)= 2119.30 / 136 STOHProp= 806.21I have owned this plane for the last 5-6 years. I’ve done a fair amount of work on it and had some great memories with her. The plane was due for annual on 5/31/2020. I have had some personal issues arise since late last year that prevents me from maintaining and flying the aircraft and I need to lose the hangar payment, so I must sell. This is nice flying airplane, with no damage history, in almost totally original condition. She is not the prettiest girl on the flight line, but she has been a good ship. Just 136 hours on the newly reworked cylinders from Harrison Engine in LaPorte, IN.(2018) The engine is strong and is using no oil. All compressions last annual were 79/80. Fuel burn is right around 9-10 GPH. Generally cruises about 110 knots. Last year I replaced the battery with a Concorde AGM, and new tires 2 years ago. Additionally, I upgraded to the LED landing light a year or two ago as well. Nice MX-12 radio, and the VOR is operational. No ADS-B, No Transponder. I installed an intercom system last year, but it quit working a couple of months later. I just use the overhead speaker and the hand mic with no issues. Oh and the plane has good glass. And did you know it is Aerobatic?Last fall, the last couple times I flew it I noticed a shimmy in the nose wheel. Not sure if it’s a shimmy damper, or other issue. Like I said, I’m unable to do any maintenance anymore. I also do not have a way to get the nose in the air without support on the gear. Aside from the nose wheel shimmy, I would fly this plane anywhere with confidence. The motor is strong, and she fly’s like a Cadillac. I also would not hesitate to ferry the plane wherever for annual. As I stated earlier, the nose wheel shimmy issue is new. I am pricing this airplane to sell. I’m not trying to squeeze every last dime I can. I’d like to see her go to someone who will maintain and fly her and get utter enjoyment just like I did. She has a lot of good hours left in her. Please don’t ask me to end the auction early, I simply won’t do it. Additionally, if you are not a serious buyer, please don’t bid. I will run the auction for 10 days.
