This aircraft is technically serviceable and legally unserviceable. The aircraft was stored since 2004 and refurbished from January to May of this year. A disgruntled painting contractor made an unfounded accusation to the FAA regarding rivets on the aircraft. Until the investigation is completed the plane is grounded. The plane can be ferried, it flew for 2 hours the day prior to the FAA action without event. The corrective action is to inspect and repair rivets with damaged heads, weigh the aircraft and re-compute weight and balance, replace stabilator tip fairings, tail cone fairing, flight controls painted but not weighed. Aft pitot static port has paint on the button, one antenna not properly secured, compass card not on aircraft. Annual February 2015. Engine time is approximately 400 hours since overhauled. Prop similar time, Hobbs meter approximately 800 hours. IFR qualified, dual radios (one needs repair).
