I am the second owner of this aircraft which is a single seater but will carry a passenger in the back if a seat and seatbelt are installed. It was factory built in 1992 and has only 65 total hours on engine and airframe and is in excellent condition, always hangered, never left outside. I have the plane stored inside at my home as the airport I flew out of closed in 2012. The Titan is powered by a Rotax 305 55hp.engine which uses gas at 5 gallons an hour and has excellent performance. It climbs at 80 mph on takeoff, cruises at 100 mph at 65% power, landing speed is about 45mph and stall speed approximately 30mph depending on load. Handling is easy, stalls are very gentle and predictable. all controls are quick and responsive, it flies like a small fighter and is fully aerobatic. There are no wires or struts to detract from performance, it has an all aluminum cantilever wing which is self supporting and extremely strong. The weight is 316lb. which along with its performance puts it in the light sport category. |
