Supposedly was a pipeline patroller that flew everyday and then a trainer of course.
I bought a couple years ago after a gear up landing.
Still flies very nice, I swear I could land it with my foot.
Repairs mostly complete. Could be annualed in a week.
Minimum prop strike inspection complete (AD crank gear and pin check), engine now running and used McCauley prop installed.
Recent Plane Parts Alternator and SkyTec starter
Still repair needed where step broke off from gear up landing. Not terrible but not fixed yet.
Still needs minor cowl repair and different cowl gear doors installed.
Was going to keep as a flying tool box but not in love with it and need space and money for other projects.
Just gotta throw the cowl on and it would fly. I could have it ready for annual in 2 or 3 days. Been sitting a couple years so it will have bugs to work out. Current condition is same as hangar pics but engine is all together and running. Ran it a few days ago and just had 1 fouled plug. Next I am going to repair cowling and fit some new gear doors on it. I have a new step. I think only 1 radio works and the DG spins like a top. I have recently cycled the gear and rebuilt all brake masters as they were leaking badly. Then annual, insurance and test flight. I have a nice Turbo Arrow gear up project to finish and Yak 18T that need my attention.
