Selling project aircraft due to recent relocation for work, great project aircraft for any Beech 18 enthusiast! No reserve on auction, first bid gets it.
Logs are complete from 1970 through 2001, however some logs are missing from 2001 - 2009 (last flight 2009). Additional logs also exist from 1952 - 1970s.
I have the airworthiness certificate and I am working with local FAA DAR to register the aircraft and prep for a ferry flight certificate.
Confirmed numbers hours: Last flight: 2009 Airframe: 7500TT Hamilton Spar Strap: 500 till inspection Props: 22D30s (inspection due) - LP 220 / RP 220 Engines: R985 AN14Bs / LE - 250 SMOH (all jugs recently cleaned out) - RE - 850 SMOH (heavy carbon buildup, but still works)
Maintenance that needs to be completed prior to a ferry flight. 1. New 2 x Gill-51 batteries in aircraft waiting to be installed and charged (acid not added) 2. 2 x new tires and tubes waiting in aircraft to be installed 3. Strut servicing required both sides (Hydraulics changed on left strut, but needs to be pressurized) 4. Gear swing 5. Brake servicing (hydraulic fluid in aircraft awaiting servicing) 6. Radio install of Mk12 (radio in aircraft awaiting installation) 7. Crack in left pilot service window 8. LE in middle of being rehung, needs to be completed (various hosing and fire extinguisher assembly to be reattached)
A good crew can get her ferry ready in a week!
